The St. Joseph Police Department offers FREE security surveys for both home and business.

An officer will come to your location and inspect your property. We can provide tips on making your homes and businesses more secure and less tempting for burglars. We check your windows and doors to ensure they are working correctly and make suggestion on equipment upgrades. Lighting and landscaping are other measures that can prove useful in deterring crime. We will provide you with a written assessment of our findings. We also provided an online security survey that you may use on your own.
