WHAT'S HAPPENING...
- Sgt. Gilpin and Chief Master Mechanic Ron Zoubek have begun researching changing the graphics package on the department’s marked fleet. The intention is to simplify the design to reduce cost yet still have the units easily identifiable as Police vehicles. Prototypes will be developed and a decision made. The next step will be to identify a funding source for the project.
Ron Zoubek and Brad Moad maintain a fleet of 112 motorized vehicles. This fleet includes cars, pickups, mototcycles, ATVs, the Police Command Post and an armored vehicle. To expand the hours of fleet maintenance, Ron and Brad work 10 hour days and rotate days off. This allows our garage to be open Monday through Friday from 6 am to 5 pm.
